Our First Annual Season Kick Off!
On August 16th, we were so proud to host a night of performances, drinks, and raffles all to benefit the 2018-19 Season at The New Women Space! Admission was $10 at the door via cash or venmo, and included one complimentary beverage and, afterwards, drinks were sold at $3 each, raffle entries at $2 per entry, and every penny went towards making our upcoming programming the best it can be.
Performances included original work by writers and composers including, Fernanda Douglas, Amanda D'Archangelis, AriDy Nox, and Brin Solomon. Performing their work as well as their own renditions of published material was Gabrielle Bullard, Emma Claye, Molly Heller, and Jason Smith. Lastly, the benefit performances were tied seamlessly together by writer, actor, and comedian, Obehi Janice.
Special thanks to the New York Theatre Workshop, The New Women Space, and NWS's volunteer committee for providing us with the resources necessary for the evening's success!
